Floating market

  There is something like it, but it's a bit disappointing. There is only a small village of ships on the  river. If waking along the riverside in the morining, some women will offer a ship tour, showing pictures of the village. If you accept, you'll be taken to their ship. In my case, the initial price was 300000đ, but it got to 200000đ soon, and the ship departed with only a participant. The boat cruise mainly just simply takes you to some souvenir shops and a paid tropical fruits garden, and shows you the floating village only a small period, 5-10 minutes of the whole time, an hour to an hour and half depending on the period for which you stay at shops. 

Price

  It is definitely cheaper than Ho Chi Minh city. A bottle of water, 1.5l, at a small shop costs 9000đ. Banh mi is from 15000đ.

水上マーケット

　の様なものがあるが、そんなに大袈裟なものではなく、川で船上生活している？小さな集落がある程度である。朝方川沿いを歩いていると何人ものおばちゃんにハローと声をかけられ、何かと聞くと集落の写真を見せられ、ついて来いと船着場まで案内される。値段は最初の言い値が300.000ドン。すぐに200.000ドンにさがり、参加者一人だけで出発してくれた。ボートクルーズに参加すると、主にお土産屋と有料のフルーツガーデンに連れて行かれ、水上集落を通り抜ける時間は5～10分程度である。行程は立ち寄り場所の滞在時間によるが、1時間半程度。

　帰り際に、声をかけられたおばちゃんであろう人に、何やら捲し立てられ、肩にグーパンチされてしまった。お土産を持っていたので、別のところで船を利用したのが分かったのであろう。何を言っているのか聞き取れなかったが、多分そういうことで怒っていたんだろう。

物価など

　やはりホーチミンと比べると一段安い。商店の水1.5lは9000ドン。バインミーは15000ドン〜。
